Ballet artist from the Republic of Moldova, pedagogue at the "Maria Bieșu" National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Chisinau. She graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Choreography in 1974. She also studied at the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts, Department of Choreography, in Chisinau (2008). Immediately after graduation, she began working at the Chisinau Opera and Ballet Theatre. Since 1995, she has also been working as a répétiteur. Her dancing is considered to be characterized by virtuosity and temperament, "fascinating with a wide and harmonious sentimental range." In 1978, she became the "prima ballerina" of the Chisinau theatre. In 1995, Olga Gurievscaia became a ballet master repetiteur for the ballet company's soloists, training ballet artists such as Cristina Terentiev (Master of Arts, laureate of international competitions), Alexei Terentiev (Honored Artist), Anastasia Khomițcaia, Lina Sheveliova. She was honored with the title of Honored Artist of the Moldavian SSR in 1983 and with the "Meritul Civic" Medal.
