Ecaterina Sau is a prominent figure in the modeling industry of the Republic of Moldova, internationally recognized for her achievements in the field of beauty and for representing the country on the world stage. Born on May 10, 1989, in Tiraspol, she began her modeling career at the age of 15 in her hometown, where she demonstrated a remarkable aptitude for this profession. With a height of 179 centimeters and distinctive features that give her a unique Asian profile, Ecaterina quickly stood out among modeling agents who recognized her commercial potential. The most significant moment in Ecaterina's career was in December 2007, when she won the title of Miss Tourism World at the international competition held in Antalya, Turkey. This represented a historic achievement for the Republic of Moldova, being the first time a contestant from our country obtained this prestigious crown, after seven consecutive years of participation. The competition jury, which included representatives from 84 countries, noted Ecaterina's exceptional beauty and presence, describing her as "the first such beautiful contestant from Moldova." Before this major victory, she had already accumulated four significant awards, including the titles of Miss Beauty of Transnistria, Miss High School, and Miss Rixus. After her triumph at Miss Tourism World, Ecaterina continued her professional career in Chisinau, collaborating with the modeling agency "Mandarin" and combining her modeling activities with university studies at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, where she was a student in Banking and Finance. Following her international victory, she was offered a professional contract in London, an opportunity she wished to pursue to develop her career at a European level.
