About

Berite Labelle, born on June 10, 1992, in Tiraspol, Republic of Moldova, into a mixed family with a Russian-Moldovan mother and a Chadian father who was a United Nations worker, began a remarkable career in modeling and acting. Her runway debut took place in 2015 at the Dukascopy fashion events in Geneva, where she presented luxury brands such as La Perla, Versace, and Hervé Léger, broadcast on Dukascopy TV. She has collaborated with Swiss jewelry houses such as Bucherer 1888 and Michaud, appeared on the covers of Vogue Ukraine, Glamour Bulgaria, Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam, and Vogue Portugal, and in 2024 was the face of the Balmain Hair Couture global campaign 'Savoir-Faire', celebrating the brand's 50th anniversary, and an Akris ambassador. Today, settled in the United States, she is a model, actress, and entrepreneur, founder of the perfume brand Blone Haute Parfumerie, launched with exclusive events at the Ritz Paris. After early moves to Bosnia, Germany, and Switzerland, where she studied commerce at Collège et École de Commerce Émilie-Gourd and became fluent in Russian, French, and English, plus Spanish, Italian, and Arabic, Berite gained confidence through modeling. She graduated from an acting program at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles with a partial scholarship won at the World Championship of Performing Arts, and produced short films such as 'Time is Eternal', inspired by Cleopatra and Mary Wollstonecraft, as well as the feature film 'APRIL X' shot in Romania. Her US career includes appearances in short films like 'Connection' and co-ownership of an audiovisual production company, combining her passion for dance—ballet, modern jazz, belly dance—with her presence on Instagram (@beritelabelle), with over 1.8 million followers. Berite's personal life was marked by challenges: the separation of her parents at age 6, the absence of her mother for 20 years, constant moves, the loss of her father to cancer at age 14, and a difficult period at age 17 with mental health issues, followed by boarding school in France. Married to a supportive husband from Geneva, she practices self-care through meditation, hiking, and dancing, drawing inspiration from her Moldovan and African roots to build a future foundation for underprivileged children in Chad and other countries. Her determination has transformed obstacles into international success, promoting emotional intelligence and the pursuit of dreams in the American fashion and entertainment industry.
