Loredana Pleșca is a Moldovan professional with a remarkable career in finance and auditing, currently based in Switzerland. Her solid background in accounting and auditing, acquired at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, has been complemented by over 11 years of professional experience in internationally renowned financial institutions. During this period, she developed specific expertise in IFRS standards, financial controllership, and complex project management. Her professional career includes progressive advancement through several prestigious institutions. She began as an audit assistant at KPMG in Chisinau, where she worked on auditing entities from various economic sectors, including projects financed by the World Bank. Subsequently, she transferred to KPMG Romania as an associate, holding positions as an auditor responsible for companies in the chemical, energy, and telecommunications industries, and later advanced to KPMG Luxembourg as an IFRS specialist, contributing to technical and strategic aspects of financial reporting. Currently, Loredana Pleșca is based in Zurich and holds the position of Project Manager in the Integration Group at UBS, one of the world's largest investment banks. Prior to this role, she served as Financial Controller with the rank of Associate Director at the same institution, responsible for financial management and reporting within the context of global operations. Alongside her corporate career, she has demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit by co-founding the 3Dimensional Business Club in Luxembourg, an initiative dedicated to personal and professional development through themed conferences and networking events.
