Ecaterina Obadă is a remarkable athlete from the Republic of Moldova, known for her exceptional performances in historical fencing and medieval combat. As a representative of the „Spada Moldovei” club, she won the gold medal at the „World Championship IMCF” Medieval Combat World Championship in 2016, in the „halberd” category, thus becoming a world champion at the age of 17. This victory established her as one of the most promising athletes from the Republic of Moldova in historical sports, both nationally and internationally. Throughout her career, Ecaterina Obadă has accumulated multiple international medals and titles, participating in championships and competitions for both women and veterans, achieving honorable results in different age categories and equipment types. Together with her colleagues from „Spada Moldovei,” she has successfully represented the Republic of Moldova at the World Medieval Combat Championships, consistently maintaining top performances against teams from Europe and other continents.
