Murphy Irina

Born and raised in Moldova, Irina now calls Colorado home after many years spent in the United States, from the East Coast to the West Coast. With a lifelong passion for creativity and design, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco. Irina worked in the fashion industry both before and after graduation, including time spent in the dynamic environment of New York City. Seeking a quieter life and a place to settle with her family, she eventually moved to Colorado, where she founded a custom children's clothing boutique. After years spent in fashion design, Irina was inspired to make a greater impact and decided to pursue a second career in architecture. In May 2025, she graduated with a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Colorado, Denver. Her dedication and excellence were recognized with the 2025 Outstanding Graduate Student Award and the Alpha Rho Chi Medal. Irina brings a strong passion for design and sustainability, technical expertise, and a keen eye for detail to every project, skills deeply rooted in her fashion design background and now extended through her work in architecture. She is also interested in furniture design, a field she hopes to explore further in future projects. When not designing, Irina enjoys spending time with her family or traveling, always drawing inspiration from the people and places she encounters.
