About

Victoria Morozov is a social activist with experience in the non-profit sector, founder and president of the Public Association "The Moldova Project," an organization active in the Republic of Moldova and the United Kingdom. Starting in 2008, through her association, she has implemented over 20 projects supporting socially vulnerable children and families in rural areas, connecting international volunteers and foreign resources with the real needs of communities in the central part of the country. In over 15 years of activity, she has built and supported multidimensional interventions – from donations of food and hygiene products, clothes, and furniture, to structural house renovations, access to essential medical treatments, and professional courses for parents – helping thousands of people living on the brink of subsistence. Through "The Moldova Project," Victoria facilitated the arrival and involvement of over 1,500 international volunteers, largely from Great Britain, but also from the USA, Holland, Norway, France, and Italy, who work directly in challenging villages in districts such as Hîncești and Anenii Noi. In parallel, she consistently collaborated with local public authorities, the ministry responsible for child protection, and local authorities, identifying the most vulnerable families and designing long-term rehabilitation plans, combined with psychological, educational, medical, and material support. In the context of the war in Ukraine, her organization also extended its reach to refugees, opening playrooms in accommodation centers, providing psychological services, art therapy, legal assistance, and integration support for women and children affected by the war. Victoria Morozov is also known as a promoter of volunteering as a "lifestyle" and civic engagement in Moldovan society. In the past, she was the coordinator of the "Hats Off to Volunteers" Volunteer Festival, an event dedicated to recognizing their work and developing a culture of volunteering in the country. In interviews and public speeches, she emphasizes the idea that volunteering and responsible philanthropy can become essential factors in combating poverty, violence, and social exclusion, highlighting the need for sensitive public policies and more solidarity in collective behavior. In her personal sphere, her life is marked by constant dedication to social projects, and her family, those around her, and volunteer teams represent the support that inspires her in her effort to transform "deep Moldova" through a daily presence in communities and in the hearts of suffering children.
