About

Misha Miller, whose real name is Mihaela Arsene, was born in 1995 in Chisinau, where she grew up and discovered her passion for music at an early age, starting singing lessons at 7 and continuing with piano. Coming from a loving family, with teacher grandparents who provided her with a sheltered childhood, the young artist graduated from a Romanian-language high school and studied singing until she was 14, then taking a break for her voice to mature and focusing on school and foreign languages. Moving to Romania in 2015 for university studies at the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iasi, where she obtained bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Finance-Banking, she was discovered by the record label Roton Music through the cover band "United by Dreams," signing a contract that changed her trajectory towards a full-fledged music career. Her career in the Romanian music industry exploded with successful collaborations, debuting in 2017 with "Sacred Touch" alongside Manuel Riva and "Fix Your Heart" with Alex Parker, followed by international hits like "Smoke Me" with Sasha Lopez, which dominated the Shazam charts in Romania, Bulgaria, and Turkey. Releases such as "Un Minut" (2023), her first song in Romanian, reached number 1 in Shazam Romania and Media Forest, accumulating millions of views, and "BAM BAM" with Alex Velea conquered global charts, TikTok, and YouTube. Collaborations with Sickotoy ("Rakata", "Touche"), Jean Gavril ("Cerul") and others, combined with awards such as the Platinum Record from Roton, 19th place in the Billboard Dance Charts, and trophies at galas like Radio România or ELLE Style Awards, have confirmed her status as a top artist, with a style that blends pop, dance, and RnB, intensely promoted on radio and digital platforms. She speaks five languages fluently – Romanian, English, French, Russian, and Spanish – which facilitates her international connections, and on a personal level, she has been in a stable relationship for over eight years with a car enthusiast partner. Based in Bucharest, where she started everything from scratch, leaving behind family and friends in Chisinau, Misha Miller combines music with unique moments such as concerts on airplanes or participations in Paris Fashion Week, where she met celebrities like Tyga and Leonardo DiCaprio, demonstrating versatility and determination in the face of challenges in the music industry.
