Inga Marcu-Rementov, born on July 12, 1980, in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, is an actress with a diverse career in Romanian and Moldovan theater, with a marked predilection for puppet theater. After graduating from the Academy of Music, Theater, and Fine Arts in Chisinau with a bachelor's degree in Theater Arts and Puppet Theater Actor (1997-2002), followed by a master's degree in Arts (2011-2013), Inga has built a solid artistic presence on stages in both countries. She worked for 13 years at the "Guguță" Municipal Puppet Theater in Chisinau (1999-2012), where she was a stage master and performed over 50 diverse roles in puppet shows, significantly contributing to the institution's repertoire with memorable interpretations in adaptations of classics such as Ion Creangă, H.C. Andersen, and contemporary authors. The period 2012-2015 marked the transition to drama theater, when the actress joined the "Ariel" Municipal Theater in Rm. Vâlcea, where she played important roles in productions directed by Aurel Palade and other renowned directors, participating in productions such as Schnitzler's "La ronde" and "Pinocchio". Her career culminated with her engagement at the "Jean Bart" Theater in Tulcea, where she demonstrated her acting versatility in classical drama performances. Professional recognition came through several prestigious awards, including the UNITEM Award for best role in a puppet show (2009, 2012), the UNITEM Award for outstanding artistic activity, and the title of Merited Artist of the Republic of Moldova, underscoring her substantial contribution to the promotion of theatrical art in the region. Previously employed in the management of artistic companies, Inga served as president of the UNITEM primary organization at the "Guguță" Theater, demonstrating organizational acumen and exemplary dedication to the values of puppet theater and theatrical dramaturgy. In parallel with her stage work, the actress engaged in artistic education and academic research, publishing the monograph "Animation Theater. A Different History" in 2024, which reflects the depth of her knowledge in this field and her commitment to documenting and passing on the legacy of puppet theater to future generations.
