About
Olesea Fiodorova is a Moldovan-American graphic designer and art professor, originally from the Republic of Moldova, who has built a remarkable career in the United States, particularly in the Boston area of Massachusetts. A graduate of the Alexandru Plămădeală College of Fine Arts in Chisinau with a degree in Theater Art and Design (1991-1995), she continued her studies in the USA, obtaining a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Massachusetts Lowell (2010-2015) and an Associate Degree in Computer Science and Design from North Shore Community College (2007-2009). Her career includes key positions in Moldova, such as designer artist at the State TV and Radio Company (1996-1999) and at Renaissance Perfect SAL in Chisinau (2001-2003), followed by a transition to the USA where she works freelance as an artist, graphic designer, and art program coordinator, with over 24 years of experience in illustration, oil painting, watercolor, and web/print design. Among her notable achievements are the founding of Olesea’s Art Studio in Marblehead, where she teaches art classes for all ages, develops interactive curricula, and organizes exhibitions, as well as the exhibition "Serenity & Whimsy" at the Marblehead Arts Association (2023), inspired by difficult moments in her family life. She has collaborated with institutions such as Wunderkinds (2011-2017), Youth Talent School (2005-2009), Kishgraphics, and Olesea's Design, creating logos, brochures, advertising illustrations, murals, theater decorations, and custom art projects. Her works are sold on Etsy through the ArtWorkFromOlesea shop, and her portfolio includes traditional paintings, children's book illustrations, and designs for clients from various fields, highlighting a passion for creative expression without limits of age or skill. In her personal life, Olesea blends art with family, being a mother of two children and a devoted wife, alongside her playful cat, Pantera; her passion for art began in childhood in Moldova, where she painted on the walls of her house, and her move to the USA expanded her creative horizons. During challenging times, such as illnesses and family losses, painting became a source of solace and financial sustainability, transforming ordinary moments into works full of serenity and fantasy. Today, a resident of Swampscott, Massachusetts, she continues to inspire through her studio, promoting freedom of artistic expression and teaching younger generations to discover the magic of art.
