Anastasia Lazariuc, born on July 6, 1953, in the village of Bacioi in the Republic of Moldova, is a remarkable light music singer who has built a successful career both in her native country and in Romania. Her artistic debut was marked by hits such as "Până la lacrimi mi-e dragă viața," "Seara albastră," and "Fuga, fuga," composed by Ion Aldea-Teodorovici. She was the lead singer of the band Sonor in 1972, winning second place at the Liepaia Song Festival (Lithuania) in 1973. Later, she worked at the Chernivtsi Philharmonic and the Chișinău Radio and Television, releasing albums with the Melodiya record label in Moscow. In 1982, she received the title of Merited Artist of the Republic of Moldova and graduated from the Institute of Arts in Chișinău. After her tour in Romania in 1985 with the band Amor and her performance at the Mamaia Festival in 1990, Anastasia Lazariuc moved permanently to Romania in 1992, becoming a constant presence on its stages. She collaborated closely with artists such as Mihai Constantinescu, with whom she recorded memorable duets between 1989-1995, and with record labels like Electrecord. She held international tours in countries such as the USA, India, Germany, and Belgium, participated in festivals in the former Soviet Union, and worked with television stations in Moscow, Leningrad, and Kyiv. Her latest album, "Sinceritate" (2007), was a resounding success, and today she works as a freelance soloist, performing sentimental and party music at events.
