Elena Baltaga is a violin professor with a remarkable pedagogical career spanning almost half a century. She first joined the faculty in 1978, in Chisinau, where she trained generations of young musicians for 15 years. In 1993, she settled in Tulcea, where she taught at the "George Georgescu" High School of Arts until 2002, actively contributing to the development of the string instrument department and the promotion of performance music education. Since 2002, her activity has continued at the "George Enescu" National Music College in Bucharest, one of the most prestigious institutions of its kind in the country. Here, she served as department coordinator for nine years, involved in the professional training of students, the organization of exams, recitals, and educational projects dedicated to young violinists. Through rigor, experience, and pedagogical vocation, Elena Baltaga has guided numerous students towards an artistic career, many of them becoming students at major music institutions in Romania and abroad. Her work is appreciated both for the quality of her teaching and for the way she provides constructive feedback, support, and direction to young instrumentalists at the beginning of their journey. Invited as a professor, evaluator, or member of expert juries, Elena Baltaga continues to inspire and support new generations of violinists, bringing seriousness, passion, and vast experience accumulated over more than 46 years of activity dedicated to music into the educational environment.
