Angela Guseva was born on June 8, 1968, in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, where she began her educational journey, graduating in 1989 from the Chisinau Pedagogical Institute, Faculty of Russian Language and Literature. Her passion for cinema led her to continue her studies in the artistic field, completing in 1997 the Faculty of Directing at the State Institute of Arts in Chisinau (today the Academy of Arts), specializing in Theater, Film, and TV Directing. Becoming a director, screenwriter, and cinematographer, she distinguished herself in Russian cinema through creative achievements that combine aesthetic sensitivity with profound human themes. Her career includes an impressive filmography of over 20 works in seven major projects, including "Grёzy. Sofia" (2013), "Nazovi menya po imeni" (2014), "Otrazhenie" (2015), "Stuzha" (2017), "Gamma. Vselennaya Maэstro" (2017), and "Pytka" (2019). In 2016, she was involved in the preparation of the film "No vsyo zhe…," dedicated to the life stories of those born during the Great Patriotic War. Her work in the Russian Federation highlights her contribution to promoting complex visual narratives, collaborating with creative teams in the contemporary Russian film industry.
