Oxana Diacenco is a high-performance judoka from the Republic of Moldova, born on April 26, 2002. At the age of 24, the athlete excels in the over 78 kg weight category, being one of the most promising Moldovan athletes in this sport. She comes from a family with a sporting tradition; her older brother is also a judoka, and her father encouraged the practice of martial arts, which led her to dedicate herself to judo from childhood, transforming it into a lifestyle. Oxana Diacenco's sports career is marked by remarkable achievements at both junior and senior levels. Under the guidance of coach Ion Cujbă, she managed to win three bronze medals at the European Under 23 Championships (Sarajevo 2022, Potsdam 2023, Pila 2024) and won the bronze medal at the European Junior Championships in Prague in 2022. In 2026, she marked a milestone in her career by winning the gold medal at the European Senior Cup held in Dubrovnik, where she defeated opponents from Turkey and Kazakhstan. In a competition of continental importance, she consistently ranks internationally, with over 120 official matches. Oxana Diacenco has publicly expressed her desire to win the Olympic title, demonstrating determination and perseverance following a path full of sacrifices. Despite financial challenges, she has continued to train intensely and participate in top-tier competitions, transforming her aspirations into concrete results that highlight her on the European judo scene.
