Ludmila Corlăteanu is an internationally recognized fashion designer, originally from the Republic of Moldova, who has established her design studio in Bucharest. Her training in the field includes studies at the Chisinau Technological College and at the prestigious Istituto Marangoni school in Milan, which she graduated from in 2007. After returning to Romania, she launched her own women's ready-to-wear brand "Ludmila Corlăteanu: Made for Supergirls", then developed collections of evening and occasion wear that attracted admirers both in the Middle Eastern market and globally, being present at Milan Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week. In 2016, Ludmila created the **Milla Milla** brand, initially as a collaboration with a showroom in Milan, focusing on casual outfits and later on day and evening dresses inspired by the elegance of the 1950s. When the pandemic halted the collaboration with the Italian partner, the designer reinvented herself and relaunched the business from scratch, launching an online store in February 2020, offering dresses made in Romania, but with premium materials from France, Italy, and Spain. The brand experienced remarkable growth, moving from sales of 30,000 euros in the first year to 140,000 euros in 2021, with approximately 50 monthly orders from a diverse clientele, composed of both young, active women without family obligations, and mothers over 35 years old. Ludmila's design philosophy focuses on respect for the real female body and unconstrained femininity, promoting what she calls "wearable maximalism" – elegance reinterpreted with flattering cuts, day-to-night versatility, and sculptural comfort. Her creations have been worn by well-known personalities such as Tyra Banks, Nicole Scherzinger, and Carla Gugino, and the products are distributed in over 50 stores and boutiques worldwide, consolidating Ludmila Corlăteanu's position as one of the important figures in contemporary Romanian fashion design.
