Ludmila Colohina is a theater actress from the Republic of Moldova, recognized as an Artist of the People and one of the important figures of the Russian-language dramatic stage in Chisinau. She graduated in 1969 from the "Gavriil Musicescu" State Institute of Arts in Chisinau, specializing in theater and film acting, after which she began her career at the Tiraspol State Drama Theater, where she performed between 1969 and 1975. From 1975, she worked at the "A. P. Chekhov" State Russian Drama Theater in Chisinau, an institution with which she has been associated for most of her artistic career. Over the years, Ludmila Colohina has distinguished herself through character roles and a stage presence appreciated by audiences and critics. Her repertoire included both classical plays and contemporary productions, and her performances earned her important awards, including the title for best female role at the UNITEM Gala, where she stated that this was her first major recognition after decades of artistic work.
