Lucia Casap is a renowned specialist in human capital development and educational policies, with a distinguished career at the World Bank. Currently a Senior Education Expert at the institution, based in Washington, D.C., she previously served as an Operations Officer within the World Bank's Global Education Practice in the Republic of Moldova, where she coordinated the implementation of a $40 million project portfolio aimed at reforming general education. Her expertise includes data analysis, project management, and advisory services on human resource development policies, with experience in Europe, Central Asia, and Africa. Lucia Casap holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and completed a Ph.D. in Economics from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova.
