Dr. Marina Buciuc is a neurologist of Moldovan origin who has built a remarkable career in the field of neurological medicine in the United States. After completing her medical studies in Moldova in 2015, she continued to develop professionally by obtaining a master's degree in Molecular Biology in the United States. Passionate about clinical research, she spent several years studying neurodegenerative diseases and neurological autoimmune disorders, an activity that consolidated her expertise and opened doors for a successful clinical career. At the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, Marina completed a residency program in Neurology, where she demonstrated devotion and clinical excellence, becoming one of the chief residents for the 2024-2025 academic year. Passionate about all neurological subspecialties, she developed a particular interest in neuroimmunology and neurological autoimmune diseases. Currently, she is pursuing a fellowship in Autoimmune Neurology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, a world-renowned institution for the research and treatment of neurological autoimmune diseases. Alongside her successful medical career, Marina enjoys her free time by spending it in Charleston on its historic streets, and at home, she dedicates her passion to culinary activities, especially growing aromatic plants.
