Tania Vinokur was born on February 25, 1982, in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, into a family of musicians. At the age of four, she began studying violin and classical ballet in Russia, and her first stage appearance took place during that period. In 1990, her family moved to Israel, settling in the city of Rehovot, where she continued her musical training at the Poach Tkvoa Conservatory and her ballet studies. Throughout her adolescence, Tania became progressively involved in professional performances, debuting with paid recitals at just 12 years old and, at 14, receiving her first invitations to international tours with renowned orchestras. Tania Vinokur's professional career developed through the fusion of diverse musical elements, influenced by classical, gypsy, flamenco, Ladino, and Mediterranean music. After graduating from Tel Aviv University and participating in advanced programs in Spain under the guidance of renowned masters, she collaborated with acclaimed artists such as David Broza, Glikeria, and dance ensembles. She founded and directed several original stage projects, including the shows Cinco5, Cuadros, and Shine, which combine violin virtuosity with flamenco dance and theatricality. Vinokur was invited to perform on the tedx.com stage and has performed in the United States, Cuba, Europe, and Thailand, with her albums produced in collaboration with renowned international producers. Tania Vinokur's stage presence is defined by her ability to simultaneously perform violin music, singing, and dance, creating an immersive and emotional theatrical experience. She lives and works in Israel, where she continues to perform in major concert halls and on various local stages. Her spiritual instrument of artistic expression remains the violin, which she reinterprets in a modern and contemporary context, transforming it into a bridge between ancestral traditions and contemporary artistic expression.
