Irina Topal, born on December 19, 1998, is a remarkable footballer from the Republic of Moldova, playing as a midfielder and recognized for her contributions in both field and beach soccer. Her career began in 2009 at LTPS No. 2 in Chisinau, continuing with clubs such as FC Noroc, where she participated in UEFA Champions League qualifiers in 2015 and 2017, FC Universitatea Galati, FC Kryvbas from Ukraine, Stomilanki Olsztyn (Poland), PAE OFI (Greece), FK Vilnius (Lithuania), and recently, Transinvest and FK Zalgiris. Among her notable achievements are a bronze medal at the Lithuanian championship, goals scored for the Moldovan national team in the 2019 World Cup qualifiers and Nations League, as well as participation in European championships. She achieved a historic performance in beach soccer, becoming the first player from the Republic of Moldova to score in the Champions League, as part of the Women's Euro Winners Cup 2021, playing for the Ukrainian team Domino’s Pizza Metropolitan from group C.
