Her academic training began at the Technical University of Moldova (UTM), where she earned a bachelor's degree in engineering, specializing in Computers, Informatics, and Microelectronics. This technical foundation enabled her to navigate complex system architectures, SQL and Oracle databases, and various programming languages with ease. Currently, Elena holds the role of Experience Owner (formerly Project Manager and Business Systems Analyst) at Navy Federal Credit Union, the world's largest credit union, located in the United States. In this position, she coordinates project teams for the implementation of complex software solutions, aiming to improve member satisfaction by optimizing self-service and digitalization processes. Her expertise covers the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), from identifying business requirements and process design to system testing (UAT) and maintenance. Her professional journey includes significant roles at companies such as Avertra, where she served as a Senior Business Analyst for large projects in the utilities industry, and Intersections Inc., where she facilitated communication between business and software development teams. Her career began with a long period (almost 8 years) at Indra, where she was involved in critical energy infrastructure projects in countries like Moldova (Union Fenosa), Romania (Electrica S.A.), Bulgaria, and Libya.
