Viorica Prepelita is an actress and dancer born in 1985 in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, who has built a successful career in the German film and theater industry. After graduating from the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts in Chisinau in 2009, she moved to Munich, where she further honed her skills by participating in specialized courses such as Acting for Film and Meisner technique workshops. She is fluent in five languages – Romanian and Russian as native languages, and German, English, and Italian as foreign languages, which has allowed her to collaborate with diverse international productions. Throughout her career, Viorica Prepelita has participated in an impressive series of German television productions, including the series Himmel, Herrgott, Sakrament, Dr. Ballouz, Tatort, and SOKO Stuttgart, as well as various TV films broadcast by ARD, ZDF, and RTL channels. Her versatile experience includes roles in fiction productions, as well as documentaries and short marathon films, demonstrating her ability to adapt to varied characters and contexts. Besides her film and television work, Viorica Prepeliэх has a rich activity in Bavarian theater and more broadly in Germany. She has performed significant roles in theatrical productions such as Heimatwelten hier und dort, Margarete Folgenschwer – Die Gretchen Wette, and Frauenzeitalter at Pasinger Fabrik. She has combined acting talent with professional dancing skills, being versed in several dance styles – from ballet and modern dance to salsa and contemporary dance – and possessing skills in sports, including yoga, Pilates, and stage martial arts, which makes her a complete performing artist.
