About
Xenia Muntean is an entrepreneur from Moldova and Romania, founder and former CEO of Planable, an innovative platform dedicated to collaboration in social media marketing and content management. Her journey into the startup world began accidentally, during her student years when she managed social media for the Coca-Cola brand. This early experience in digital marketing opened her eyes to the challenges of coordinating multiple simultaneous campaigns and inspired her to transition from managing a traditional agency to building a scalable tech product. Planable, founded in 2016 alongside co-founders Vlad Caluș, Nicu Gudumac, and Miruna Dragomir, has grown into a platform used by over 15,000 teams to plan, approve, and schedule social media content for global brands such as Hyundai, Christian Louboutin, Viber, and the United Nations. Xenia chose a growth strategy based on profitability and sustainability, raising less than $1 million and avoiding aggressive funding rounds. This near-bootstrapped approach allowed the team to focus on maintaining the product vision and resist pressure to accept client requests that could have diluted their market positioning. After nine years of profitable development, Planable achieved a successful exit in August 2025, integrating into SE Ranking, a UK-based SEO company. Xenia was recognized on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, joined the Techstars accelerator, and graduated from the Silicon Valley entrepreneurship program led by Tim Draper. She also serves as a judge at the Webby Awards, a mentor for startups, and an investor in several companies, demonstrating a continuous commitment to the entrepreneurial ecosystem and a desire to support future generations of founders.
