Singer-songwriter Mia Moisa left behind a "normal" life to pursue her dream of becoming a stage artist. A strong and independent girl who has always struggled with "being accepted" in modern society. She left home at 18 to live in Belgium, where she expected to succeed in her studies as an ordinary teenager. After many attempts, she gave up her old lifestyle to become what she had always wanted to be. Singer, model, and actress. It has been three years since she started her journey and, despite all the difficulties, she will not give up. Born in Chisinau, Moldova, Mia moved to Portugal at the age of 4 with her family to escape the poverty felt in the USSR in the 2000s. At the age of 8, she joined her first theater group. At the same time, she performed in folk shows as a singer. Her childhood is marked by trophies and drama. In 2016, she moved to Brussels, Belgium, where she discovered her inclination towards jazz and soul during jam sessions in bars (coup de ❤️ pour La Tricoterie). Mia could not concentrate on her studies and the idea of being put in a box. In 2019, she dropped out of university to focus on her healing through art. Her current audiovisual project depicts social issues and their psychological consequences.
