Stella Jemna is a remarkable professional from the Republic of Moldova, with an impressive career in education and professional development, marked by achievements in promoting the skills of women and civic leaders. A graduate of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova with a bachelor's degree in Economics, and holding a master's degree in Public Administration from Georgia State University (USA), where she benefited from a Fulbright scholarship, she has accumulated over 20 years of experience in project management, leadership, and public policy. Among her notable achievements are leading the "Women with Ideas" program at the National Democratic Institute (NDI), where she developed professional skills for numerous women in the country, as well as training projects for political leaders and activists, contributing to the strengthening of democracy and gender equality. She has collaborated with prestigious institutions such as the Government of the Republic of Moldova, where she served as Head of Cabinet in the Prime Minister's Office (2021-2023), Aspen Institute Romania (manager of the Chisinau office), UN Women, National Democratic Institute (NDI), Teleradio-Moldova, and USAID. As country representative for Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund (UMAEF) and Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF), she coordinates investments and programs that support community and economic development. She also founded the podcast "Aprinde Becul cu Stella Jemna" and initiated projects such as LeaderSHE – Young Leader Academy, recognized as the best project in Moldova in 2013, promoting education and female empowerment. Born on September 29, 1983, in Drochia, Stella Jemna dedicates her time to creating an environment where people are valued and productive, emphasizing teamwork and communication. Empathetic and persistent, she highlights the importance of resilience and transforming challenges into opportunities, inspiring young generations of women to pursue their dreams. Recently, she launched mentorship initiatives for women in Moldova, offering resources for successful careers, and promotes inclusion and critical education in society.
