Oxana Jeleapova is a remarkable personality born in Chisinau, Moldova, into a family with Bulgarian roots from Bessarabia. A lawyer by training, with studies in international and criminal law at the University of Moldova, she decided to change her professional path and settle in Bulgaria in 2010, where she developed a public and social career. Her ability to communicate in three languages – Moldovan, Russian, and Bulgarian – allowed her to become a bridge between the Bulgarian diaspora communities. Oxana gained international recognition after winning the title of Mrs. Bulgaria Universe 2022, becoming the first woman of Bessarabian Bulgarian origin to wear this crown. During her tenure, she actively dedicated herself to promoting Bulgarian traditions and values, and her performance extended to participating in various beauty pageants where she represents the Republic of Moldova. Alongside her beauty and representation activities, she has supported numerous charitable causes, including the rehabilitation of a neurorehabilitation center in Chisinau for children with cerebral palsy. The mother of two daughters, Ivana and Malena, Oxana has declared her personal mission to be one of unification and inspiration, being known also as the "ambassador of kindness and Romanian spirit." She lives and works in Bulgaria, where she combines family life with her social and cultural commitments. Although settled in Bulgaria, she maintains a strong connection with Moldova, describing it as a home that always remains in her heart and from which she continues to receive correspondence from all over the world.
