Valeria Guzun, born in Chisinau approximately 12 years ago, represents a prominent hope for Irish rhythmic gymnastics, having moved to Ireland with her parents. She began training at the age of seven under the guidance of Natalia Podgainaia at the "Dacia" high school in Moldova's capital, where she discovered her passion for this elegant sport, which combines the grace of ballet with physical strength and coordination. Today, Valeria successfully competes for the Irish national team, demonstrating her talent and determination in international competitions, becoming an example for young gymnasts in both countries. Her sports career evolved rapidly with her relocation to Ireland, where rhythmic gymnastics gained ground thanks to coaches from the former Soviet space, such as Valentina Kulikova from Moldova, who laid the foundations for this sport on the Emerald Isle.
