Daria Golneva is a young fashion designer from the Republic of Moldova, noted for her talent in creating innovative collections that blend multiculturalism with contemporary elements. A graduate of the Technical University of Moldova, specializing in Light Industry Engineering with a focus on textile product modeling and technology, she won first place at the Z Generation 2019 competition, the national stage of the international fashion design competition in Central and Eastern Europe, representing Moldova at the final in Kyiv. Her bachelor's collection, presented on the runway, impressed the jury with its originality and marked her promising debut in the fashion world. Her collaborations include partnerships with institutions such as the Center of Excellence and Acceleration in Design and Technologies "ZIPhouse" at the Technical University, the Employers' Association of the Light Industry (APIUS), and the Moldova Competitiveness Project, supported by USAID, Sweden, and UK Aid. She also benefited from an intensive design course at the Italian school Polimoda and collaborated with designer Denis Caunov for the collection "Welcome to the Gift Shop" (2019), made from fabric scraps from factories and disassembled jewelry, which won the BIG SEE Fashion Design Award 2020, including the Grand Prix. This collection, inspired by the atmosphere of a souvenir shop and the sincere connection between cultures, was photographed at the National Museum of Natural History in Chisinau and featured in international magazines such as KALTBLUT Magazine. At 22 years old, Daria Golneva belongs to Generation Z, raised with the internet, who do not recognize boundaries in creation, motivating her to stay in Moldova with her family and friends. Her vision focuses on clothes with personality, accessible to young people her age, but suitable for all ages and contexts, seizing opportunities with effort and consistency. Her successes highlight the potential of young women in the Moldovan fashion industry, contributing to the promotion of local design on the international stage.
