Katya Daniel, originally from the Republic of Moldova, has distinguished herself as an exceptional leader in talent acquisition and human resources operations in the United States. A graduate of UCLA with a bachelor's degree in Global Studies and a minor in Russian Studies, she later obtained a master's degree from University College London, where she researched human trafficking and corruption. Her career includes leadership positions at executive recruitment firms in London, such as Progressive Recruitment and Spencer Ogden, then at the University of Texas Health Science Center, the University of California Office of the President, Intuit, and TigerConnect, culminating in the role of Head of Talent Acquisition at Golden Hippo in Los Angeles, where she manages global teams in international expansions and DEI initiatives. A specialist in high-growth recruitment, employer branding, technical recruiting, executive search, and talent metrics, Katya has collaborated with major organizations in tech, energy, higher education, and direct-to-consumer marketing. She is a member of the Forbes HR Council, contributing articles on assessing HR success, improving career fairs, productivity, and workforce analytics.
