Aurica Danalachi, originally from the Republic of Moldova, started with simple but ambitious dreams of escaping poverty and eating in restaurants without looking at prices, transforming herself into a successful entrepreneur in the gastronomy field in Italy. She initially worked for a multinational company specializing in fresh fish trading and contributed to a Ministry of Foreign Affairs project, where she applied the knowledge gained from her master's degree in non-profit organization management. Today, she manages the Cipasso restaurant in the center of Rome, included in the Michelin Guide in 2019, a success achieved through hard work, impeccable service, and active promotion on platforms like Tripadvisor. Together with her husband, whom she met at a mutual party, Aurica faced major challenges at the beginning of the business, including a lack of financial resources, finding the right location, and obtaining a license in the ultra-regulated area of central Rome. Her husband, with 15 years of experience as a waiter and manager in Italian restaurants, was the ideal partner in opening Cipasso, and the couple invested everything to quickly bring it to the top of recommendations, offering discounts and personalized attention to customers. The restaurant attracted the attention of incognito Michelin inspectors, confirming the quality of their exceptional cuisine and hospitality. Aurica emphasizes integrity and honesty as core principles of success, guided by a code of ethics in managing her team and internal processes. Although her main field is gastronomic entrepreneurship, her involvement in podcasts and interviews, such as the one conducted by Nata Albot within a project of the Center for Analysis and Prevention of Corruption, highlights her commitment to ethical values and social contributions. Her personal life, anchored in her partnership with her husband, has provided her with the strength to overcome obstacles and build a prosperous business abroad.
