Olesea Cauș is a remarkable visual artist originally from the Republic of Moldova, currently based in Barcelona, Spain, where she carries out her creative work. A graduate of the "Igor Vieru" High School of Fine Arts and the Academy of Music, Theatre, and Fine Arts in Chișinău, she has distinguished herself through her preferred technique of watercolors, which capture the sensuality and transparency of nature, as well as through oil on canvas works influenced by impressionism. Her favorite themes include flowers, animals, landscapes, women, and self-portraits, reflecting a deep love for all that is alive and beautiful, inspired by inner states and the surrounding world. Her career includes successful solo exhibitions in Moldova, such as her first exhibition "Palette of My Dreams" unveiled in 2014 at the "Artium" Gallery in Chișinău, where she presented 22 paintings featuring landscapes like "Butuceni," still lifes, and floral compositions. She has also organized charity events, such as the watercolor and graphic art exhibition in 2016 in support of the Laika Foundation for homeless animals, combining art with social engagement. Her works, exhibited and sold in various artistic contexts, demonstrate constant evolution, marked by experiments with mixed media and pen techniques, promoting a free dialogue between tradition and innovation. Although details about her personal life remain discreet, Olesea Cauș dedicates her creation to her soul, seeing art as a reflection of the desire to discover beauty in everyday life. Through her dreamy palette, full of illusions and hopes, she inspires young artists to persist in the search for creative freedom, continuing to exhibit internationally from Spain and maintaining strong ties with her Moldovan roots.
