About

Ana Cassian, originally from the Republic of Moldova, has made a name for herself in the international fashion world with her boundless energy and adventurous spirit, becoming a role model for ambitious young women. Although in her childhood she dreamed of becoming a police officer or a secret agent, inspired by series like X-Files and her father, a prison guard, her modeling career began unexpectedly when her mother enrolled her in a Pantene hair competition. There, she was noticed by the founders of the Central Models agency, Emília and António Romano, and subsequently signed a contract that launched her professional trajectory. Her long-standing collaboration with Central Models, the first modeling agency in Portugal founded in 1989, has been marked by loyalty and mutual trust, with the agency propelling her into international projects such as Angola Fashion Week or six-month stays in Barcelona. She proudly represents Portugal, holding Portuguese citizenship and passport, even participating in the Miss Universe pageant in 2010, and has worked with photographers, designers, make-up artists, and stylists on image, fashion, and advertising campaigns, alongside other Moldovan models like Daniela Hanganu. With a diverse genetic background – Armenian, Polish, Russian, and Romanian, with the name Cassian being Armenian – Ana is passionate about travel, reading, astrology, and unusual hobbies such as speed-eating sunflower seeds. She urges young aspiring models to always be prepared with heels and bikinis in their bags, to accept rejections with their heads held high, and to cultivate an interesting personality, rich in hobbies. Her realistic goal: at least 10 Vogue covers, living by the motto "live as if you were to die tomorrow and learn as if you were to live forever."
