About

Carol Bowman, M.S., born October 14, 1950, is an internationally renowned author, lecturer, counselor, and therapist in the field of reincarnation studies, with a focus on cases of spontaneous past-life memories in children. A graduate of Simmons College in Boston, she earned her master's degree in counseling from Villanova University and trained with past-life regression pioneers such as Morris Netherton and Roger Woolger. Her career of over 35 years as a regression therapist for adults and children includes thousands of sessions, presented as a practical method for healing traumas, phobias, and physical problems. She is now retired from active practice as of 2023. Her most well-known achievements are the books *Children’s Past Lives* (Bantam, 1997) and *Return from Heaven* (Harper Collins, 2001), considered classics in the field of reincarnation, translated into over 22 languages and published in dozens of countries. These works explore the spontaneous memories of young children and the phenomenon of reincarnation within the same family, based on empirical research and personal experiences. She has appeared on TV shows such as *The Oprah Winfrey Show*, *Good Morning America*, *Unsolved Mysteries*, and A&E and Discovery Channel documentaries. Her online forum, Past Life Forum, founded in 1997 with her husband, remains the largest discussion platform on reincarnation. Interest in reincarnation began in the 1960s, during her student years, through out-of-body experiences, and intensified through the past-life memories of her own two children, then aged 9 and 12, which inspired her research. Bowman sees reincarnation as a natural, observable phenomenon that influences relationships, emotions, and human destiny, offering spiritual and practical benefits. She has lectured in the USA, Norway, Belgium, Spain, Ireland, Holland, Brazil, and at institutions such as the Omega Institute and the Edgar Cayce Foundation, promoting a scientific approach in the consciousness sciences.
