Diana Artiom is an artificial intelligence and data engineering specialist with a career of over ten years in the field. Originally from the Republic of Moldova, with a bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the Technical University of Moldova and a master's degree in Data Analytics from the Universität Hildesheim in Germany, she has established herself as a leader in complex machine learning and digital transformation projects. Currently, Diana holds the position of Data ML (Gen)AI Manager at Echomotion in Germany, where she leads strategic initiatives in artificial intelligence and scalable data architectures, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate AI solutions into innovative products and services. Her professional experience includes significant roles at internationally renowned consulting firms, including Deloitte, where she specialized in AI implementation in open banking, developing prioritization frameworks for AI applications and piloting API implementations with large language models. She has also collaborated with Data Reply and other tech institutions, gaining expertise in the end-to-end development of data-driven solutions. Her professional certifications include credentials from Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, and Databricks, demonstrating a deep understanding of cloud technologies and production machine learning platforms. Beyond her corporate work, Diana Artiom is a social entrepreneur passionate about building tech communities and promoting innovation. She co-founded the FAF NGO and coordinates the “Artificial Intelligence in Action” initiative, contributing to the development of the local AI ecosystem in Moldova. She is also an organizer of meetups on machine learning for production and co-host of the Cowsay podcast in Romanian.
