Ava Morgan Harrison is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Gregory Blackman Harrison. Ava was born in Chisinau, Moldova, and was adopted at the age of two, becoming an American citizen. Ava is a proud member of the Stratford High School cheerleading squad. Additionally, she is actively involved in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, National BETA Club, Health Occupations Students of America, and the Renaissance Club at Stratford High School. This year, Ava was accepted into Trident Tech’s Early Admission Registered Nurse Program and began taking college courses in her junior year, pursuing not one, but two associate degrees while still in high school. Ava, excelling academically, was invited to join the National Honor Society for Leadership and Success at Trident Technical College. Looking ahead, Ava aspires to attend the College of Charleston to further her studies and pursue a degree in medicine, with the goal of becoming a pediatrician. Her dedication to academics, leadership, and community involvement reflects her admirable character and determination to make a positive impact on the world, and we can’t wait to see all that she will accomplish in the future.
