Natalia Duminică, born on April 8, 1990, in Chișinău, is one of the most remarkable belly dancers in the Republic of Moldova, recognized as the queen of oriental dance due to her smooth, graceful, and elastic movements. She started dancing at just two and a half years old, making her stage debut in Romania alongside her mother. She has won prestigious titles such as Miss Belly Dance Moldova in 2008, the Grand Prix at the same competition, second place at the festival in Saint Petersburg, and has participated in international competitions like the Oasis Festival in Russia, Orient Dance Festival in Egypt, and Orient Festival in Morocco. Her career includes collaborations with the National Academic Ensemble of Folk Dances "Joc," where she was selected towards the end of the National Choreography College, as well as solo shows like "Egyptian Nights," presented in Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, and Egypt, alongside guests from around the world. The dancer graduated from the National College of Choreography and the Academy of Music, Theater, and Fine Arts, perfecting her technique through intensive masterclasses in Cairo, Egypt, where she studied various rhythms and authentic Egyptian style. She participated in successful television shows, such as "Românii au talent" (Romania's Got Talent) with her mother, "Splash! Vedete la apă" (Splash! Celebrities in the Water) in Romania, and recent projects like "Survivor România" (Survivor Romania), demonstrating versatility through dances such as flamenco, Indian, or Mexican. Active in promoting belly dance, Natalia organized her own Miss Belly Dance Moldova competition and maintains a dance school, inspired by family tradition, where she teaches techniques that help women discover their femininity and uniqueness. Coming from a family of artists, Natalia inherited her passion for dance from her mother, Aliona Duminică, a choreographer who opened her own belly dance school and danced in ensembles such as "Miorița". Her parents separated when she was four years old, her father being a folkloric artist with whom she no longer keeps in touch, and her mother was her main supporter, taking her on tours and encouraging her natural talent, which she describes as a "gift she was born with". Her personal life is discreet, Natalia states that dance occupies all her time, leaving little room for romantic relationships, but family and art remain the foundation of her identity, with oriental dance representing her on stage, where she becomes another version of herself, uninhibited and emotional, unlike her shyness in everyday life.
