About

Elena Ciuprina, an artist and fashion illustrator originally from the Republic of Moldova, has distinguished herself through her exceptional talent in fashion illustration and textile design. A graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Design from the Cracow School of Art and Fashion Design and a Master's degree in Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland, where she lived for 12 years, she began her career by combining a passion for inventive shapes and vibrant colors with illustrations that capture the essence of fashion. Awards such as winning the Fashion Illustration category at Art & Fashion Forum 2015 and being a finalist in the Vogue Talents 2012 competition marked her early successes, transforming the dream of a little girl from Moldova into an international career. Her extensive collaborations with luxury brands such as Max Mara, MAX&Co., FENDI, BVLGARI, Chanel, Tiffany&Co., Brunello Cucinelli, and Loro Piana demonstrate her impact in the fashion industry. Her illustrations have appeared in prestigious magazines like Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, and L’Officiel Italia, and she regularly participates in Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks, creating live illustrated reports from shows, backstage, and street style. Frequently invited as an event artist, she has created capsule collections such as "Let’s Draw!" for Max&Co. or accessories for Massimo Alba, and has drawn live at Tiffany&Co. and Loro Piana events in several European countries. Although details about her personal life remain discreet, Elena Ciuprina's journey reflects a story of perseverance: from a childhood marked by colorful Moldovan folklore and the hardships of the post-Soviet '90s, to her recent move to Milan, her third adopted city after Poland. Here, she dreams of developing textile prints, exhibitions of floral paintings, and a children's art collection, continuing to amaze with the speed and precision of her sketches, which transform fashion's ephemeral moments into lasting works.
